Join us Thursday, July 10th, 2025 from 6:00–7:30 PM at our new meeting space located at 350 Frank H Ogawa Plaza, Suite 800, Oakland, CA

We’ll honor International Nelson Mandela Day by grounding ourselves in global and local struggles for justice. Together we’ll explore:

• The Nelson Mandela Rules – UN international standards on the treatment of incarcerated individuals
  
  
• The South African Freedom Charter and its powerful influence on liberation movements
  
  
• How to engage in local (in-district) lobbying
  
  
• And how these connect to Sister Warriors’ 2025 Policy Agenda
