Yesenia Raquel Veamatahau (they/them) is a multidisciplinary operations professional and healing justice practitioner proudly rooted in Oakland. From a family that has navigated harm with resilience, their commitment to collective liberation is grounded in lived experience. For over 12 years, Yesenia has dedicated themselves to movement-building—from youth organizing with Causa Justa::Just Cause to building people-centered infrastructure at Essie Justice Group and stewarding collective governance at Resonance Network. As Executive Assistant to the SVP of Strategy & Policy with Sister Warriors, they practice radical care so directly impacted leaders can thrive. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for!
